So I'm a total believer that your bedroom is your Sanctuary. You should be able to go to your bedroom and find some type of comfort and tranquil feeling. So I have started my mission of creating my sanctuary. This is what I am working towards for my bedroom. My vision is to bring in a base color that can handle the bold colors that you see above. I also want my room to have a since of romance or a hidden romantic feeling. I feel that my sanctuary is fun, playful, and romantic all in one. I will let you all know how this works out. Take Note of Mrs. Viola Davis. I consider her style to be graceful. I love the fact that she is not afraid to walk the red carpet in her natural hair. Every time I have seen her on the red carpet one word comes to mind and that is confidence. As a beautiful brown woman I feel that she has been able to evoke a graceful confidence on the carpet. I appreciate her style.

Beauty Secret: JOHNSON'S® Baby Oil Gel with Shea and Cocoa Butter

Good Morning Loves!!! Today I wanted to share with you one of my new favorites. It is Johnson's baby oil gel  in Shea & cocoa butter. This stuff have saved me from an ashy day or two or more, lol. This product is really cool because it gives sheen like an oil but not messy at all. The cool thing about this gel is that it does not take a lot to give your skin moisture. A little goes along ways for sure. It has definitely helped me out this winter because my skin gets extremely dry like most people do in the winter time. The best part is my skin keeps a sheen to it when I use this gel. I think you guys should look into it. When you try it please let me know how this works for you.....

Good evening love bugs what is new????? Well today was simple put a good day. It was good for many reasons, so I will just go down the list.

1. I was blessed to live another day
2. Everyone I spoke to today plays a very important role in my life. I Love you all endlessly
3.Someone told me they loved more than once today.
4.I found a sale (I still have buyers remorse tho..(Ill post what I found)


So I had four important things take place today and while they seem sooo simple they are all blessings in disguise.(even the items I purchased on sale)

Pantone Fall 2014 Color Forecast

 

So it is that time again!!!! Fashion week started yesterday!!!!!!! So I can't weight to see what collections are going to intrigue me. With all of the festivities Pantone dropped their amazing color forecast for the 2014 fall season.

 

 

Now I tend to get more excited about the color forecast because I get a chance to see how colors are reinvented for every season, and his season is no different. So Pantone has dropped the radiant bomb of colors like Radiant Orchid, Royal Blue, Aluminum, Aurora Red, Misted Yellow, Sangria, Mauve Mist, Cognac, Bright Cobalt, and Cypress. At first glance I am able to determine how I could mix and match these different colors for the up coming season. I also get an idea of how I can keep my future clients in season but timeless at the same time. How do you all feel about this fall report???

This little beauty is running for $965.00 a pop. This is glamour at it's best. These are a pare that are most definantly on my wish list. This is love at first sight. Take Note: Ladies and Gentlemen this lady has been giving and showing us that less is always more for years. Nia Long has always been a natural beauty to me, but it is not the reason why we should take note of her. We should take note because I believe that we tend to underestimate her style. She is another DIVA who can continue to change her hair however she wants, short or long. Her style speaks volumes about who she is. She is not so over the top where you can see who or what she is. The Adventures of Bra Shopping

So today I had a field trip to Victoria's Secret to do a return on some dresses I previously purchased. Well instead of just doing the return I decided hey why not do an exchange. I previously purchased some bra's early in the year from Victoria's Secret and they were not my correct size. So I asked the sales rep to rep to re size me when I got to the store. Well I found out that by actual bra size is a 36 DD. The bra's that I previously purchased at another VS location was 36 D....HOW UNCOMFORTABLE uggh. Well in the process of trying on new bra's and getting my correct fit. I found out that I will be able to return those two undersized bra's that I previously purchased. Which made my happy of course. So in all I was able to get three bra's today. So she(me) is feeling very happy about my items. Oh and I purchased this cute ring and earrings from Old Navy as well. I must say that I don't feel like my purchases were a total waste, and I was able to get a $15 dollar gift card for those purchases....Tomorrow I will be returning to the store to do my return on the other bras.

I decided to share this because......1. This is my style journal. This is about me finding my style and understanding it. Secondly...I thought this was very important to share because this bra fitting thing is so misunderstood. It is so understood because we simple just don't know how to measure our bra sizes ourselves and the tell tell signs of knowing that...."boo your bra is to small". I am all about making sure that your undergarments are correct before you put on your actual garments.....it can really make it or break it...trust me I know...because I have had some bad outfits and just went wrong with the wrong under garment. So in this case sharing is caring because maybe this will motivate you to make sure you are wearing the correct undergarments.

Just to let you know I love VS but just to make sure I will be going to Dillard's to make sure that my bra size is correct because you never know. Not to discredit VS, but a lot of times their employee's are not experienced in the bra sizing department. I say this because when I first went into the store there were a lot of young girls who could care less about the job working in there. Side Note: VS should start hiring individuals who care about giving people the correct bra sizes, because I have heard on numerous occasions of unsatisfactory bra sizing experiences from them. Being that I love the VS brand I refuse to let that get me down. I am a girlie girl what can I say.....I LOVE girlie things....
